Your child used sexually aggressive language toward another game.
Tips for conversation
1.Explain to your child that you were notified about some of their comments during the game being sexually aggressive.
2. If you haven’t had this conversation before, explain to them it’s inappropriate to use sexual language in an aggressive way. It’s important to set boundaries on what is considered a joke between friends and what can be hurtful and offensive. Talk with them about how to be respectful to others.
3. Even if they didn’t mean to offend others, advise your child to stop using this language. Other gamers can ban them from the game due to their behavior.
4. If you did talk with your child about it before and they continue with this behavior, try to keep an ‘ear out’ and when you hear your child using sexual language in an offensive way, use that as an opportunity to intervene, you can help your child to understand how others may feel when they hear it.
